Thank you for downloading my newly updated Martin PBM Mariner. The model is originally by Alphasim.

What's been done:
I've redone the VC. A few gauges are the stock PBM gauges supplied
by Alphasim. The rest are from a custom gauge pack I've created especially
for this model. The custom gauges themselves derived from those found in Milton
Shupes models. I've altered the textures a bit to include electrical switches, and to
make the gauges on the cop-pilots panel match the appearance of the pilots panel.
They are only non-functional textures though. I just didn't want anything to look
out of place on the co-pilot side.
Unusually, I'm not including a red VC light. It made the VC appear too dark. The
stock vc light works well without causing glare.
Also, I've included a new 2D panel. I created a new panel bitmap that allows a wider
view of the panel. So all the instruments and controls can be seen and used without needing
to use pop up windows. The only popup windows are for the radios and GPS.
Special thanks to Maurice for giving the suggestion of creating a 2D panel.
It really amped up the challenge and reward to do it.

Installation in FS9:
simply unzip and move the "PBM-3 and PBM-5" folders into your FS9/aircraft folder.

For FSX:
Same as FS9. Move into the FSX/simobjects/airplanes folder.
But, I've included modified panel cfg. files to use in fsx. They are each in
a labeled folder in the zip file Those cfg. files must be placed in their
respective PBM-3 and PBM-5 panel folders. Otherwise there will be viewing and texture problems.
The only side effects in FSX seem to be that the VC textures have a slight blur, and
when flying in rain/snow, the windows turn to an opaque blue. Which I understand
is common when porting FS9 aircraft to FSX. Otherwise it Seems to work great.
